Clearly this is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Astoria (see previous post here). We’ve probably ordered most of their menu by now, so here is a new batch of some of our go-to dishes.

New noodle dishes, curries, and appetizers – all equally delicious.

There’s an option for just roti bread on the side, but when I saw this Roti Massaman appetizer I just had to order it. The massaman curry sauce was flavored perfectly with potatoes, onion, and peanuts with fried onions on top. Not enough roti to soak up the sauce, but it tasted just as good poured over some rice.

I love me some Kimao (or “Drunken Noodles” as Americans say). These flat rice noodles were stir-fried with egg, bell peppers, napa cabbage, onion, mushrooms, carrots, and basil leaves. We got it with pork and it was a nice medium spicy heat.

Another classic I love to order from Thai places is Chicken and Basil Sauce. This dish came with sauteed bell peppers, onion, basil leaves, and chili. It said medium spicy on the menu but wasn’t hot at all.

This Panang Curry on the otherhand was a lot more spicy than anticipated. Also listed as “medium spicy” it definitely packed a punch. We got it with chicken and the panang curry was extremely flavorful with bell peppers, string beans, pineapple, and carrots.

Still our #1 fave Thai spot in Astoria!
